from the dept. A postdoctoral fellow is required to coordinate research activities on predator-prey interactions in aquatic ecosystems at the Ocean Sciences Centre of Memorial University. Research approaches include behavioural ecology, ecophysiology, and computer modeling to understand the impact of changes in the physical environment on predator-prey interactions. The successful applicant will have experience in these different research approaches as evidenced by peer reviewed publications. The salary for this position will be at NSERC levels (currently $40,000 per year) with funding available for a maximum of 5 years and may begin as early as February 2008. This position will be based out of the Ocean Sciences Center (Memorial University of Newfoundland) in the laboratory of Dr. Mark Abrahams (Mark_Abrahams@Umanitoba.ca).
