Genesis Award for Undergraduate Research
The Genesis award was created to encourage undergraduates from academic institutions of all sizes to participate in research and present their findings at the Animal Behavior Society.
Undergraduates who submit posters for presentation at the ABS annual meeting will be automatically entered in the Genesis Award poster competition. Judging criteria include significance of the research topic, research methodology, research results, and presentation. Students should be prepared to demonstrate mastery of their subject material, and will be evaluated by judges based upon the poster itself as well as by their oral discussion. A complete set of judging criteria can be found at the ABS Education Committee website, under Career Development. The winner for the Genesis Award receives a certificate and US $ 100.
Eligibility: All undergraduate students who submit posters for presentation at the meeting will be considered eligible. A checkbox is available on the Abstract submission form for you to alert the program officer(s) about your presentation.
