In each Abstract, the bold name is what we used as the surname.
To determine surnames, we used the “Author Surname” data fields, for each author, if there were data entered into these fields by the submitting author.
If these data fields were empty, we examined the submitted Abstract Text box which contained a list of authors, and used the final name listed for the presenting (FIRST) author. Although we attempted to check other information in other places, there may be errors, due to time limitation or incomplete information.
Names such as “da Silva” are indexed as “Silva”
Names such as “D’Alba” are indexed as “Dalba”
Corrections and Cancellations: If you find significant errors please notify the Program Officer, Diana Hews <dhews@indstate.edu>. She will collect corrections, additions, and cancellations, and have this information available at the ABS Registration table at the conference. After June 15 please send this information to Regina Macedo rhfmacedo@unb.br or tell the people at the ABS Registration Table at the conference.
To determine when you are presenting. Presenters must determine the day and time of their presentations, as they will not receive a separate notification. Look your name up in the INDEX of the program book. It will indicate a day, time period (AM2, AM2, etc.) and a session abbreviation. The asterisk indicates a presenting author. For example: Rios-Cardenas, O* Wed AM2, Paren Care. Then turn to the DAILY SCHEDULE GRIDS (starting at page 12) and look at the appropriate time of day (in this example, second morning session, i.e. AM2) and the corresponding session (in this example, Parental Care and Allocation) of the three possible sessions at that time.
Posters: Authors should stand by their posters during the Wednesday evening poster session if their poster is ODD-numbered, and the Thursday evening session if their poster is EVEN-numbered. Posters should remain up until Friday 11AM.
Surnames:
E-mail addresses of Presenting Authors: If an e-mail address is not listed, the submitting author did not provide it in the Abstract text box. Again, we attempted to determine these e-mails and insert them into abstracts but, due to time constraints or incomplete information, not all presenting authors have an e-mail address listed. If you are a presenting author and your e-mail address is missing, you may give this information to Diana Hews (dhews@indstate.edu) or to the people at the ABS registration table at the conference, and we will compile a meeting listing of e-mail addresses and post this on the meeting website after the conference.
