from the dept.
Ph.D. position in animal behavior at Reuven Dukas’ laboratory, Department of Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour, McMaster University, Canada.

I currently accept applications from prospective Ph.D. students for fall 2006. I offer superb infrastructure for research either in the laboratory or a few field locations, and generous financial support for the duration of the Ph.D. Students may get involved in one of my research projects or develop their own study integrating evolutionary biology, cognition and behavior.

Prospective students with the appropriate background in animal behaviour and evolutionary biology are invited to read about my research interests (http://psych.mcmaster.ca/dukas/), check out the departmental web site (http://www.science.mcmaster.ca/Psychology/) and e-mail me a short letter outlining their background (major / minor, research experience), general interests, and specific ideas about potential Ph.D. projects. Do not send attachments. I can guarantee funding for Canadians but will consider non-Canadians with exceptional record.
