Fieldwork Assistant Required Association for the Przewalski Horse, Causse Mejean, France. Spring 2005.

We are looking for a volunteer to assist a Ph.D. student in its fields work next spring (april to june 2005). Work will be conducted on wild Przewalski horses in the Cévennes area (southern France). More information available at http://www.tourduvalat.org/news_807.htm

Activities include:

Social behaviour sampling,
Spatial position recording,
Group composition monitoring,
Data capture.

Requirements:

Must be trained to doing field work,
A background in animal behaviour science is optimal,
Driving licence recommended.

Logistical support:

Accommodation provided,
Closest city is Florac (half an hour drive).
