I currently accept applications from prospective Ph.D. students for fall 2003. I can offer superb infrastructure for research either in the laboratory or a few field locations ranging from the Atlantic Coast to the Rocky Mountains, and generous financial support for the duration of the Ph.D. Students may get involved in one of my research projects or develop their own study in the general area of integrating evolutionary ecology, cognition and behavior.

Prospective students with the appropriate background in animal behaviour and evolutionary ecology are invited to read about my research interests (http://psych.mcmaster.ca/dukas/), check out the departmental web site (http://www.science.mcmaster.ca/Psychology/) and e-mail me a short letter outlining their background (major / minor, research experience), general interests, and specific ideas about potential Ph.D. projects. Do not send attachments.
