New Member Applications and Payments
The first step in becoming a new member of the Animal Behavior Society is to fill out the New Member Information form (see link below), check your information and submit it. You should then go to the membership categories/Dues, select the correct category, submit and go to the payment section.
Applications are processed in the ABS Central Office during normal business hours (8 am - 4 pm EDT US) and are usually processed when received. Some delays are possible depending on the workload, vacation times of personnel, or server/network load. In normal circumstances you should expect to receive an electronic communication from the ABS Central Office within 24 hours. PLEASE SAVE THIS INFORMATION. It will contain your ABS username as well as other information. Your ABS username is unique to you and will be your gateway to all the information on any of the websites run by the Animal Behavior Society. You will receive additional instructions for the journal Animal Behaviour and ScieneceDirect. These are NOT run by the society and will have a different login and password procedure.
Please note that it may also take a few additional hours for your log-in information to percolate to our servers.

- Navigate to the Membership Categories and select the correct category
- submit
Make sure you do not use accented characters when filling out your payments forms as they may result in error messages.
