BYLAWS (Article IV, Section 10):</p>

<p>
Annually award research grants of up to (U.S.) $1000 to 
members of ABS.</p>
<p>
POLICY (Section 13):</p>
<p>
Conduct research awards program according to guidelines 
of Policy, Section 13. Note that announcements about the availability 
of the awards and application procedures are to be published in the <u>two</u>
 issues of the NEWSLETTER preceding the application deadline.</p>
<p>
ADDITIONAL:</p>
<p>

1. Submit annual report to Executive Committee.</p>
<p>
2. Send annual report and relevant materials to 
Historian. These should include research proposals and reviews.</p>
