BYLAWS (Article IV, Section 9):
1. Maintain record of Society activities. The term of office is up to three years (re Constitution, Article 7); however, reappointment is possible (similar to other committee appointments).
2. Facilitate transfer of Society materials to the archives at the Smithsonian Institution.
POLICY (Section 24):
1. Retain copy of Minutes of Executive Committee meetings which may be requested by individuals of organizations on a short-term loan basis. See that ABS files are updated on an annual basis.
2. Facilitate retrieval and archiving of all ABS records and information.
3. Serve as ABS Liaison to the Smithsonian.
ADDITIONAL:
1. Submit annual report to Executive Committee.
