  1. The name Animal Behavior Society on items for sale shall require written approval of the President in consultation with the Treasurer and First President-elect.
  2. Any unauthorized use of the ABS name as expressed or implied endorsement or certification may be grounds for termination of membership. (Enacted at the 1987 E.C. Meetings.)
  3. Any apparent misuse of the Society's name should be brought to the attention of the President. The President should instruct the user that the use of Animal Behavior Society affiliations in any commercial venture should be accompanied by a disclaimer that such advertisement does not signify endorsement by the Society. (Enacted at the 1985 E.C. Meetings.)
  4. ABS film awards carry the privilege of listing the award in promotional advertising for the winning films (see Sec. 10c).
