Two Young Investigator Awards (renamed as the Outstanding New Investigator Award) were announced at the 1998
Annual ABS Meeting in Carbondale. The awards will be given to:
Douglas P. Chivers
(University of Maine) for his research on Predator-prey
interactions in aquatic organisms, and to
H. Kern Reeve
(Cornell University) for his research on The evolution of
cooperation and conflict in animal societies. These awards
will be given at the 1999 meeting at Bucknell University.
