Note: ABSNet will be moving in Sept. 2000 to the ABS server, abs.animalbehavior.org, located at the ABS Central Office. We will be switiching to a program called mailman to handle the mailing list. This change from out current software called majordomo will add several important features, most importantly a web based subscription and unsubscription services. Automatic archiving of back issues will also be supported. This change in software should be transparent to members already subscribed and the current moderation method by Jim Ha and Shan Duncan will remain. All current subscribers of ABSNet will be notified when this switch occurs. In addition, while this conversion is taking place, all posting from the old address (absnet-post@gila.cisab.indiana.edu) and the new address (absnet-post@abs.animalbehavior.org) will posted to the web based News and Discussion server at ABSNews.
