ABS LOGO The purpose of this society is to promote and encourage the biological study of animal behavior in the broadest sense, including studies at all levels of organization using both descriptive and experimental methods under natural and controlled conditions. Both research studies and the dissemination of knowledge about animal behavior through publications, educational programs, and activities shall be encouraged (see ABS Constitution).

After the Meeting: Results of the first annual Animal Behavior Society "fun run" 2008

The Animal Behavior Society Sponsored the first ever “fun run”, held on the last day of the meetings this year in Snowbird, Utah (that’s an elevation of 8,500 feet!). Thirty runners participated, ranging in age from 21 to 64, with some speedsters as well as walkers.
